What is Trauma Insurance Cover?

Trauma cover pays a lump sum in the event of a specified medical condition, whether you are prevented from working or not. Knowing you and your family are protected against the financial consequences of a serious medical condition can provide some much needed relief during a stressful time.

Additional expenses such as treatment, medication and rehabilitation costs combined with the reduced capacity or inability to earn an income can cause financial stress however this could be eliminated with an appropriate level of Trauma Cover.

Trauma Cover protects your family’s financial security in the event of a specified medical condition.

You should consider Trauma Cover if you:

  • have a family or dependants
  • have a mortgage or other debt
  • would need an ongoing income to live on if you couldn’t work again
